The latest software upgrade for the VPAP Tx includes the following enhancements:

  • Easy-Breathe in S mode:
The Easy-Breathe waveform provides a smooth transition from IPAP to EPAP for increased patient comfort during bilevel titrations.
  • "EPAP" term replaces "EEP" in ASV therapy:
This change makes terminology consistent between titrations, scripts and take-home device buttonology.
  • Detailed Setting Report:
The VPAP Tx is the only all-in-one titration system that offers a Detailed Settings Report, which captures and time-stamps all changes made to therapy pressure and settings during the night in a single, easy-to-read format. This allows you to ensure protocols are being followed, identify training opportunities, and redcover information needed to populate missing tech notes in PSG studies.
  • SlimLine tubing:
VPAP Tx is compatible with ResMed's exclusive SlimLine™ tubing, which offers an even more comfortable therapy experience for your patients. It takes up 35% less space, is 40% lighter and is 14% thinner than standard tubing, allowing your patients better mask stability and more freedom of movement for a greater chance of titration success.

Designed with patient comfort in mind
The VPAP Tx delivers comfortable therapy that allows your patients to fall asleep and stay asleep, so your titrations are an overnight success.

  • Contains all ResMed therapy modes for every patient type
  • Guided mode transitions eliminate sudden pressure changes and enable a smooth transition from one mode or pressure to another
  • Easy-Breathe waveform synchronizes pressure with the patient’s natural breathing pattern
  • Whisper-quiet operation makes it the quietest all-in-one lab system on the market

Delivering efficient, consistent results
The VPAP Tx helps you introduce a smooth start to your patients’ therapy with a spectrum of tools and features to increase efficiencies in your sleep lab.

  • Mask fit feature displays real-time leak, ensuring the mask has a proper seal before starting therapy
  • Prescription Report seamlessly incorporates the final mask, device and titration settings into a script
  • Detailed Settings Report captures and time-stamps all changes made to therapy pressures and settings during the night, minimizing study turnaround times
  • True leak reporting feature automatically displays accurate mask leak data, eliminating the need to reference charts to calculate appropriate leak values
  • Customizable default settings allows you to customize therapy settings according to your lab protocols
  • Easy upgrades allow you to download new technologies and features as they are released
  • Intuitive software reduces training time
